Sit on Top Kayak Training Day
DETAILS:
We would like to offer this training day, to any club member, to build up confidence and paddling abilities, so that you can hopefully join us on our safety cover events and assist the club helping the community!
Please note that it is not a condition of taking part though.
The training day is not limited to novices or beginners, it is open to any club member of any paddling experience. to come and join us for a great day on teh water, however it is unfortunately restricted to those in school yr9 or above – no upper age limit and to only 12 members, as that is all the kayaks we have got.
Whilst the cost of this training day is free of charge, John Wheeler (from RLSS Boscombe Lifeguards) is giving up his day to come and deliver this day for you. So, it would be very nice if you could all bring some money (say £5 each) so that we can cover the cost of his parking and also get him a little something as a thank you. We will also have two of our own club member (Pippa Marchant and Sam Travers) shadowing John on et day, so that they can provide instruction on future courses as they as are kayak instructors themselves.
