Post COVID-19 Lockdown Update

We are delighted to announce that after months of lockdown and absolutely zero club activity, that the we are able to say that we will be resuming club training on Thursday nights at the Dolphin Pool from 10th September 2020.

As with all activities that have been allowed to resume after the complete lockdown, there will be changes to the way we will need to operate. Those changes are detailed below

The main change to our training is the reduction in number of swim lanes available and the number of swimmers per lane being put in place.

As such training places will unfortunately be limited, so be sure to register your name if you want to be part of the club training activities from 10th September onwards.

The cut off for signing up to return to club training will be 31st August

We will look at those that have signed up to return and will create new groups based on age and skill sets. These Groups will create their own little bubble and will consist of trainer(s) and up to 8 members. Bubbles will not mix and every effort will be made to keep them separate at all times.

If you feel that you would be more comfortable wearing a face shield when entering the building and for your theory session then please continue to do so, however at this moment it will not be a mandatory requirement of attending a training session.

Symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19)

The most common symptoms are new:

A new continuous cough is where you:

A high temperature is feeling hot to the touch on your chest or back (you don’t need to measure your temperature). You may feel warm, cold or shivery.

Some people will have more serious symptoms, including pneumonia or difficulty breathing, which might require admission to hospital.
